OspreyThis large bird of prey is dark brown above with a white belly and head. In flight, the crook in its wings helps identify it. The large stick nests are usually built in dead trees, but are also found on telephone ples, channel markers and artifical nesting platforms. The osprey catches fish by diving in feet first.

in animals, in birds and the environment.

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome photo! You can just see that osprey's focus was totally on its prey.
