I thought I'd start my Monochrome Weekly participation with a genuninely monochrome photograph straight out of the scanner. That's me with my maternal great grandmother, who lived close to a hundred with very few gray hairs. My mother's generation missed out on the gene, so I'm hoping I'll keep my black hair when I turn old and not-gray. :D
"Shades of grey wherever I go
The more I find out the less that I know
Black and white is how it should be
But shades of grey are the colors I see.”
~Billy Joel quotes
I absolutely love old scanned photos. This is touching and very precious, thanks for sharing.
