A fountain at the Corniche in Alexandria, Egypt.

I love how the blue background make green colors pop out.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Lights and Shadow

Taken at the bar inside Cha-Cha Coconuts on top of The Pier in Downtown St. Petersburg. The setting sun outside added to the shadows inside and enhanced the red cast of the lights on the bar interior. The sight was pretty dramatic, I thought.

(P) I took the shot with the flash off and, as usual, had my camera set to auto.
Welcome to my first True Colors post. (D)

Lighthouse. Peoplehouse.

I always wanted to live in a treehouse but I won't mind living in a lighthouse like this, either. St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum in St. Augustine, FL. January 30, 2010.

Love, Love, Love

My sister sends me flowers every year for my birthday (July, not January ). This bouquet of roses is my favorite, so I'm sending it 'out there' for everyone to enjoy. :)

July 2008? That's according to the date on my camera.

I could swear I received these flowers last year.

Ah, well... My mind may give in to old age, but the flowers are forever beautiful. :D

B for Blue/Bird/Beach... :)

Is this the place to do schoolwork, or what? I spent the day here doing schoolwork with breaks here and there *clears throat* for picture-taking and daydreaming. Hey, can you blame me? It was a great spot, except for the crows, who eventually drove me away with their LOUD and incessant crowing from the tree branches above--not to mention several attempts at stealing my food every time I walked away! And then, of course, there were the seagulls, too. Sheesh... The good news was, I did find another great spot (hard not to do in this place); although, I was pretty distracted to do schoolwork by then. Heheh.

Taken at Fort de Soto Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. 2009.
